The way people get their panties in a bunch anytime a Woman even embraces a fraction of their Sacred Sensual self(family, friends, colleagues, media, society..)…In one sense it truly baffles me. I have long ago released shame, embarrassment, and perverted ideas of the Black body, the Female body, Sexuality, Sensuality.
When I truly sit and meditate simply on the boundless empowerment of Divine Feminine energy…YES. IT IS POWER-FULL AND DYNAMIC AND RAW AND INTIMIDATING AND TRUE.
I get it, boo, when I whine this waist you see the creation of life itself. You see the duality of Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine, you see Nature, you see the World, you see Freedom and Liberation.
Then I take my own experience, growing up as a young African American girl, a little Black girl…a trained dancer eventually discovering she is a Daughter of the Diaspora, hence unleashing my bloodline of rich and vibrant riddim, pleasure, openness and joy in MOVEment.
And then there’s the Journey of my own Womanhood…Sheesh!
So this one’s for you EMPRESS…Shake, Jiggle, Whine, Release, Heal, Unlock, Empower, and Ignite continuously without any apology. PERIODT.
